Just to Introduce my-self

I am a mum of an 8 year old boy and join this forum to meet other mothers to share my experience, challenges etc. I was very busy as a career women when I had my son but decided to take a break as I felt I wanted to be with my son. As I was not used to be at home at the time, I started a home based business to strike a balance between my family commitments and my work. Today I am happy about my decision as the time has given quality of life to my family as we are no longer in the race of meeting day to day demands of life. I do not earn the kind of money I used to earn, but happier and contented with the quality of time I spend with my family to take care of them.

I would like to know how other mothers feels about developing a career and taking care of their family.
